SUFF is a jewelry brand from Szczecin, founded in 2021 by Dominika Deręgowska, a designer with over 25 years of experience in floristry and weddings. The brand is known for handcrafted jewelry, with elements like petals and leaves cast using a technique developed by the founder.

The Japanese stained glass technique, which inspires SUFF's jewelry, is rooted in creating intricate, transparent structures with subtle geometric patterns. One notable method, plique-à-jour (known as shotai-jippo in Japan), involves applying enamel to a delicate metal framework, then removing the base to leave glass resembling stained glass. Popular during the Meiji period, it creates a light effect similar to European stained glass but with a more refined and subtle aesthetic.

SUFF's collection includes hair accessories like headbands, combs, and branches, as well as earrings and ear cuffs. The jewelry highlights individuality, adding shine and confidence to any outfit. Made from jewelry wire, freshwater pearls, gemstones, and plastics, each piece is unique with intricate details and precision craftsmanship.

SUFF transforms these traditional inspirations into three-dimensional forms, with each detail carefully crafted, echoing the finesse of ancient stained glass masters. Dominika draws inspiration from her love of cinema, fashion, stars from the 30s and 40s, rare minerals, astrology, nature, and haute couture ornamentation. Her floristry background helps her create complex designs inspired by plants. The technique she developed is not only unique but also durable, making it perfect for special occasions.
